Eric Fedewa has been an award-winning real estate developer for over 20 years. He has acted as the builder/developer of a multitude of projects including single-family, multi-family, master-planned communities, and commercial in 5 states. He has raised around $100MM in debt and equity and produced over 1500 housing units. Mr. Fedewa is no stranger to complex real estate transactions, executing deals as a buyer, a borrower and a lender. Eric has done transactions with a variety of financing sources from small high-net worth investors, to bank financing to a Kuwaiti pension fund. In the past few years, Mr. Fedewa has served as a Director at Crimson Capital Advisors, and R&F Commercial Debt and Equity, related companies, completing transactions involving distressed assets, and turn-around situations. Now as a Managing Partner at Lendcore, Eric is using his skills in small business, finance and real estate to grow the company into the best in the business. Mr. Fedewa graduated from The College of William and Mary and Harvard Business School.
Michael has more than 25 years of diverse management and real estate experience gained both domestically and internally. Prior to joining Ascend Capital Partners, Michael was a General Manager for land acquisition for NVR, Inc., the nation’s 4th largest publicly traded homebuilder where he was responsible for identification, evaluation, negotiation and closing on prospective land sites. While at NVR, he was instrumental in contracted for or purchased land or lots with an estimated value in excess of $450m. Previously, he worked for Lennar, the nation’s second largest public homebuilder also in the land acquisition capacity. Prior to Lennar, Michael was an Investment Officer for a large Middle Eastern private equity fund that specialized in the real estate sector. In that role he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, closing and managing their U.S. investments. In addition to his public homebuilder real estate experience at NVR, Inc. and Lennar, he also worked in both the financial and land acquisition capacities at Beazer Homes and Centex (Homes) Real Estate Corporation and as Vice President of Operations for a large, Northern Virginia private real estate developer. Early in his career, he was an Accounting Manager for The Charles E. Smith Companies (now Vornado Realty Trust). He also spent several years living and working in London as a business consultant and advisor for a London based management-consulting company working on engagements in the education, technology and sporting sectors. Michael earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
